Withdraw cash at local shops, not ATMs — a merchant-powered cash-out network.
A fintech in Jordan set out to build a new kind of service: not another wallet, but a distributed cash-access network powered by open banking and modern fintech infrastructure. Veengu delivered the whole stack — consumer app, merchant mPOS, business portal, and the platform underneath.
From "I need cash" to cash-in-hand, no ATM in sight.
The user discovers nearby participating merchants, picks one, generates a withdrawal request, and the merchant pays out cash. Open banking handles the payment from the user's bank account to the merchant; Veengu orchestrates the multi-party transaction.

The platform delivered. The ecosystem was early.
The technical implementation and core transaction flows were successfully delivered and validated in production pilot. The constraint sat one layer out: open banking infrastructure and bank API readiness in the region were still evolving, which capped commercial adoption. The platform model itself was proven.
Veengu is not just a wallet platform.
This pilot validated that Veengu can serve as a flexible fintech infrastructure layer for entirely new financial service models — multi-party transactions, geolocation-driven service flows, gamified loyalty, and open banking — not just the standard wallet-and-payments use case.
