Overview
Veengu specialises in developing a core banking platform for financial institutions across various sectors, including digital wallets, electronic money institutions, money remittance services, and other fintech businesses. We are searching for a highly skilled and technical Product Owner with expertise in enterprise software for banks, payment processors, and fintech. This role is crucial for driving the development and improvement of Veengu’s software platform, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager on the product roadmap.
- Gather and analyse business requirements for new features and enhancements, translating them into user stories and technical specifications.
- Analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design scalable and reusable solutions that adhere to industry standards and best practices, ensuring long-term viability and maintainability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Manager, Delivery Team, Product Architect / CTO, developers, UX / UI designer, and QA engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of features and enhancements.
- Document detailed requirements, user stories, and API specifications.
- Perform initial acceptance testing of developed functionality.
- Develop and maintain product documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within software development for the fintech industry.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise IT software systems, including core banking platforms, payment processing systems, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of system analysis, solution architecture, and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in documenting business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with modern software development tools and technologies, such as cloud computing, micro-services architecture, API integration, and DevOps practices.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
