Manual and automated testing of the Veengu platform — UI and HTTP-API integration tests, test plans, load testing. Currently paused.

Job description
We are seeking a passionate QA Engineer who is eager to grow in the field of testing and is particularly interested in fintech. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting manual testing, developing automated UI and HTTP-API integration tests, creating test plans and cases, maintaining test documentation, and participating in the analysis of customer issues. Additionally, you will organise and support test environments and conduct load testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing including system, integration, regression, and smoke testing.
- Develop automated UI and HTTP-API integration tests.
- Create test plans, test cases, and maintain test documentation.
- Participate in the analysis of customer problems with the support service.
- Organise and support test environments.
- Conduct load testing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of testing experience.
- Understanding of testing principles and a strong desire to develop in this area.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools, and the ability to apply them practically.
- Understanding of software architecture, particularly client-server architecture, web-application testing, and working with HTTP APIs.
- Proficiency in Unix / Linux command line and experience with Git.
- Experience with relational DBMSs, proficiency in SQL for simple queries, and ability to create / restore backup copies.
- Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation and communicating with international colleagues.
- Fast learner with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and offer systematic solutions.
- Interest in fintech.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JVM applications, PostgreSQL DBMS, Docker / Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience using Postman, Selenium, and JMeter.
- Ability to estimate labour costs, set priorities, and plan work processes.
- Experience in testing banking and financial services.
